A bold move was recently done by celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton. He has decided to go on a "Kardashian Kleanse" and vows to not post anything Kardashian-Jenner related for the week of August 17-21. The blogger did the #NoKardashiansForAWeek announcement on his website yesterday and claimed that he will post inspiring stories about women all over the world in lieu of their stories.
Following his announcement and his call to other fellow entertainment bloggers to do the same, Hilton tweeted that Kim Kardashian allegedly unfollowed him on Twitter. It appears that the blogger remained unfazed as he states that "kleanses" are part of every healthy diet. He reportedly hopes that more bloggers and journalists will follow suit.
Elite Daily salutes Hilton on this move and states that "it's honestly the bravest move ever" and compares it to "Toyota deciding to stop producing tires." The author of the article also mentions that this stint couldn't have come at a better time since the seemingly inescapable Kardashian-Jenner frenzy is getting crazier by the minute.
Also this week, a host of "Good Day Orlando" walked out on set during a live telecast when a fellow reporter was about to share news about Kylie Jenner's 18th birthday celebration. Anchor John Brown proclaimed that he has had enough of the Kardashians and that he didn't want such news to ruin his good Friday. He wasn't afraid to say that "nobody cared" about such non-news. The Daily Mail had an in-depth story about it.
