Cara Delevingne Interview: 'Paper Towns' Actress Finally Fires Back After Her 'Good Day Sacramento' Interview Gone Wrong

Cara Delevingne's interview in "Good Day Sacramento GDS)" made headlines last month. The model-turned-actress was taken aback when the anchors misunderstood her sarcasm, called her out for it and cut the interview short.

Delevingne finally opened up for the first time to clear the issue when she spoke with KISS FM. The 22-year-old model thinks that the "GDS" hosts misunderstood her work ethics, according to Daily Mail.

"People say I don't work hard, or that all of this has come very easy, and that I haven't had to work for it," the "Paper Towns" actress said. "That's not true at all. Erm, that's the worst, I hate that one. Because I pride myself on how hard I work, so it sucks when people say that kind of thing."

The British model/singer also talked about her relationship with singer girlfriend St. Vincent. Being new to the spotlight where personal lives of actors are being brought up, the new actress dished that she's now being used to the nature of her job.

Right after Delevigne's interview with "GDS," she took to Twitter to defend herself. The 22-year-old wrote that some people just don't understand the sarcasm or the sense of humor of the British people. During the time, she garnered support from Boy George and Zach Braff, while Chrishell Stause suggested that she should be grateful for what she has now.

Delevingne's interview in "GDS" went a different route, which the new actress wasn't expecting at all. The cringe-worthy interview started with one of the hosts calling her "Carla." The hosts might have reportedly misinterpreted her answers when she was indirectly answering the questions thrown to her.

Things spiraled out of control when a host asked her if she was exhausted. After some exchanges of questions and answers, the interview clearly went sour with one host telling her "take a little nap, maybe get a Red Bull," according to Kpopstarz.

The Victoria's Secret model who's promoting "Paper Dolls" is also one of the stars cast alongside Will Smith, Jared Leto and Margot Robbie for "Suicide Squad." She has been modeling for DKNY, Top Shop, Burberry and Chanel for four years and has been active in print and ramp modeling. Delevigne is presently dating St. Vincent.

Meanwhile, the film adaptation of John Green's popular novel "Paper Towns" will be shown on August 17 in the U.K.
