Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards' relationship is over, but various rumors stil hound the ex-couple. The former One Direction hunk was recently spotted in the red carpet Straight Outta Compton premiere on Monday night wearing a black shirt with the text "Truth."
Many speculated that the slogan shirt worn by the 22-year-old newly single singer was meant to send a message to his fans about his good intentions. He was seen looking cool with his all-black ensemble as he posed for photos before watching the NWA hop hop group biopic, the Daily Mail reports.
Meanwhile, his ex-fiancee Edwards continued to post Instagram selfies, apparently suggesting that she's doing fine after her high-profile split with Malik. On Sunday, the "Black Magic" singer made headlines when her pal Jade Thirlwall and her Little Mix bandmates flashed a fan-made sign blasting her former flame.
"Zayn Malik is irrelevant anyway," the sign reads, while the other side shows "'stay strong Perrie."
The fan-made poster was shown by Thirlwall right after a meet-and-greet discussion with their fans. Edwards was not seen holding the sign, but her pal was photographed many times flashing it. The pictures also made rounds in social media over the weekend.
Both Malik and Edwards were busy in downtown LA for separate business engagements. Over the weekend, the Bradford-born hunk attended Kylie Jenner's 18th birthday bash. He was recently romantically linked to Kylie's sister Kendall. He was also rumored to be dating Disney star Zendaya Coleman, but Coleman denied the rumors, saying that they haven't met yet.
Meanwhile, the Little Mix singer was reported to be trying to put on a brave face after her breakup with Malik. Reports claim that the former One Direction crooner split up with her through a text message on July 20 in the midst of the band's latest single, "Black Magic," promotion.
Malik and Edwards have kept things under wraps since they parted ways. However, Malik's fiancée is scheduled to appear in James Corden's "Late Late Show" on August 18 with her Little Mix bandmates, and she is expected to reveal everything that led to their split, Hollywood Life reports.
