A high-ranking Microsoft official has said that Microsoft's Xbox One backwards compatibility feature will be released this fall. Aside from the Xbox 360 game that will be included in the backward compatibility feature, all downloadable contents will also be included, as long as the video game's publishers will allow it, a report from Gamespot said on Tuesday.
According to Gamespot, Phil Spencer, a top official of Microsoft Xbox, has claimed that the company is currently formulating a clear "description" as to how free downloadable contents will be handled in the feature. The official details are still in progress but Spenser assured players that all downloadable contents of Microsoft Xbox 360 will eventually "work as expected."
"We are working on a clear description of how DLC will work. It should work as expected," reads a Twitter post by Spencer on Tuesday.
It can be recalled that software giant Microsoft has announced the Xbox One backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games during the E3 2015 press conference in June.
