‘Ronda Rousey’ Wants A Side Job: Aiming For A Marvel Superhero Role

Ronda Rousey wants a side job and she is aiming for a marvel superhero role. But that is not the real story here, the UFC superstar has only shared her dream role if given the chance.

Comic Book reports that Ronda Rousey has participated in Reddit's Ask Me Anything (AMA) recently. One of the participants in the AMA asked the UFC Bantamweight Champion which hero she would like to play in a movie. The champ said that most of the good superheroes have been taken already but she would like to play the character of Ms. Marvel.

That may not sound right because everyone knows that Carol Danvers goes by her superhero name "Captain Marvel." But then everybody knows also that before she became "Captain Marvel" in 2012, she has been called Miss Marvel for quite sometime including her other monikers- Binary and Warbird.

Aside from loving Marvel Superheroes, NewsArama says that the Bantam Weight Champion (UFC) also loves World of Warcraft, Pokemon, and Dragonball Z. If Ronda likes to play the role of Ms. Marvel in a film, it is not going to be far-fetched since she certainly got the physique to pull off the character of the said heroine.

From the report of the Comicbook Resources, it says that Ronda is definitely not ruling out a superhero role in a film. Rousey seems to enjoy her side jobs in Hollywood. She has been cast in movies that showcase her skills in mix martial arts. The line up is growing from "Expendables 3," "Furious 7," "Entourage," and now the she has a cameo role in the upcoming movie "Portal to Hell." So, going back to her desire to play the role of Ms. Marvel, some fans have interpreted that she is currently and silently working for the role. "Captain Marvel" is still in the works and is slated in theaters in 2018.
