The whole world were shocked and sad when iconic actor Robin Williams took his own life last August 14, 2014 at his home in Paradise Bay. Celebrities and fans alike mourn for the loss of a great, actor, friend, son and a father.
One year have passed and the wound Robin left is still fresh in everyone's memory. One of Robin's closest actress was Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played Robin's daughter in their sitcom, "The Crazy Ones" in CBS.
In an article from cbsnews.com, Sarah took her tribute in Instagram after she posted a photo of a famous park bench from Robin William's movie with Matt Damon, "Good Will Hunting", along with the caption of:
"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of the intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the beauty in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that one life has breathed easier because you lived here. This is to have succeeded" #Emerson You succeeded RW #RobinWilliams"
Robin won an Oscar award for best supporting actor for his role of a janitor who helped Matt Damon to find direction in his life.
He was also known for his performance as an English teacher that inspired his students through poetry in "Society of Dead Poetry" and no one can forget his ingenious comic role in Mrs. Doubtfire where he posed as a British elderly nanny to spend more time with his children after his divorce.
John Santos joined the pool of people who gave tribute to Robin Williams through Twitter by tweeting:
'"Dear money, send mom" Robin Williams. The first autograph I ever got. You are missed Robin. #RobinWilliams"
According to dailymail.co.uk, the actor has been suffering from severe depression, Parkinson's disease, and diffuse Lewy body dementia but it was only later learned by others after he committed suicide by hanging.
