'Fifty Shades Darker' Movie Spoilers & Updates: Filming Delayed Due To Jamie Dornan's Schedule?

"Fifty Shades Darker" star Dakota Johnson recently revealed that they will start filming in January. However, there are reports that this will be delayed due to Jamie Dornan's schedule.

As of late, Dornan is tied to the WWII film "Anthropoid," and there are rumors that after the film's release, the actor would like to spend as much time with his wife Amelia Warner first.

According to Bitbag, Dornan also wants to spend time with his one-year-old daughter because the actor is actually a family man. There are also speculations that he wants to be around for his daughter's firsts.

Meanwhile, if the filming of "Fifty Shades Darker" will be moved to accommodate Dornan's request, there are speculations that the film's release date will also be moved. On top of Dornan's desire to spend time with his family, the cast and crew of "Fifty Shades Darker" is still not complete.

As of late, "Fifty Shades Darker" has not yet named its director. Additionally, the roles of Jack Hyde, Mrs. Robinson and Leila Williams have not yet been filled.

In the past, "Fifty Shades of Grey" director Sam Taylor-Johnson said that she will no longer direct the two upcoming sequels because of some issues she had with book author E.L. James.

In an interview with E! News, Taylor-Johnson said, "Directing 'Fifty Shades of Grey' has been an intense and incredible journey for which I am hugely grateful. I have Universal to thank for that. I forged close and lasting relationships with the cast, producers and crew and most especially with Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. While I will not be returning to direct the sequels, I wish nothing but success to whosoever takes on the exciting challenges of films two and three."

"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
