It is obviously true that Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris' relationship is getting stronger and serious. And with her grace, beauty and character, Taylor surely deserves to live in a castle. Will her castle be set in Scotland now?
Sorry, but it looks like the rumors of Taylor Swift buying a castle fit for her royal pop pedigree are untrue.
Swift sent this tweet to her 61.9 million followers, denying the reports.
"Cause baby I could build a castle out of all the bricks they threw at me" -- a line from "New Romantics"
"But I'm not actually buying a castle."
According to E! Online, if the move had been true, it would have been seen as the 25-year old pop princess' move to get closer to the family of her 31-year old boyfriend, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, as they live only an hour away.
The mentioned castle, which is located 14 miles north of Perth, Scotland and an hour from the city of Edinburgh, is called Tower of Lethendy. It was first built in 1570 by Sir David Herring of the family of Herring of Drumlochy, as a moated keep and hunting lodge.
It has its own 40-acre private golf course, eight bedrooms, 2 tennis courts, a heated swimming pool, gym, sauna and a billiard table. The castle is estimated to be worth $7 million.
This is not the first time that the Style singer has been reported to be considering to buy a real estate property to get closer to her beau's family. In 2013, she was also rumored to buy a house in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts near the Kennedy compound (when she was dating Conor Kennedy), says realtor Bob Kinlin in a report by E! Online.
The Massachusetts home has already been sold at a price of $5,675,000, with Swift getting almost $1 million in profit, after only seven months in her ownership.
Nevertheless, it's pretty sure that the Swifties already think of Swift as the ultimate princess, with or without a castle.
