"Divergent" co-stars Theo James and Shailene Woodley are the type of actors who do not really care too much about fame. In an interview with the Evening Standard, James said that fame is not very important to him because what's important is that he does his job as an actor really well.
"Some people embrace it, some people like it and props to them if it works for them. But it can be a bit difficult because at the end of the day, all this other stuff is irrelevant - acting is my job. I'm still the same person so it hasn't really changed me. It's not like I go to trendy parties, that's not particularly my thing," he explained.
James added that he does not believe that people should change because they have become famous all of a sudden.
"So I don't think it needs to change you unless you want it to. Unless you're Brad Pitt and then you definitely can't go to Costa coffee to pick up a frappuccino," he said.
Meanwhile, James also spoke with Flaunt Magazine about the use of social media. The actor revealed that he does not have any and said that he doesn't have any plans to create one.
"I don't have it and I never will. Other actors I know are really good at it and they rock and roll it, but it's not for me. If I post a picture of us having a drink now and get loads of views and comments and stuff, then suddenly you're quite exposed and you're in a world of work. I just like being present," he said.
James will reprise his role as Four in "Allegiant - Part 1," alongside his co-star Woodley, who will reprise her role as Tris. The film will be released in the United States on Mar. 18, 2016.
