One of the fashion industry's most stylish women, Victoria Beckham, recently channeled her inner Minion and shared the picture in Instagram. The post was made just hours after husband David Beckham shared his response on social media over dummy criticisms.
The former "Spice Girls" shared the funny picture on Instagram on Tuesday, August 11, which showed her wearing a Minion-shaped onesie, reports Hello!magazine. The 41-year old fashionista jokingly posed for the camera, with the minion hood covering most of her face. Victoria captioned the photo, "What can I say? I was inspired x vb #Minions." She also included a "Victoria Beckham Minion" cartoon with the post.
In the same report from Hello!magazine, husband David was shown previously getting a temporary tattoo of the cute yellow characters on his stomach. A month ago, the former football player donned the new body art which was chosen by four year old daughter Harper. A quick snap of David's new tattoo was also shared by Victoria in Instagram, who wrote, "Harper has just added to Daddie's tattoo collection x happy Tuesday in the sunshine! X vb."
Meanwhile, Victoria's funny Minion-inspired fashion post was made just hours after David shared his response over criticism about their daughter Harper was still using a dummy or pacifier, reports the Mirror. The athlete took to Instagram to voice his opinion, writing, "Why do people feel they have the right to criticize a parent about their own children without having any facts ?? Everybody who has children knows that when they aren't feeling well or have a fever you do what comforts them best and most of the time it's a pacifier so those who criticize think twice about what you say about other people's children because actually you have no right to criticize me as a parent..."
The Mirror report also mentioned that the dummy criticisms started when the father and daughter tandem were spotted out and about this weekend. The four year old was seen with a dummy on her mouth, which sparked a deluge of mixed responses on social media. Some stated that Harper was too old for the pacifier and that long term daily use can damage teeth and cause speech issues. Meanwhile, supporters also shared their own dummy experiences along with the age they gave up their pacifier. A few parenting experts have also spoken up and insisted that it's up to the Beckhams to choose how to raise their daughter.
