Ventriloquist Favored to Win "America's Got Talent"Again?

Seems like America's Got Talent season 10 has a possible big win on another ventriloquist named Paul Zerdin.

An article on yahoo.com featured the British voice-thrower's performance on the recent elimination rounds for the show. He does his performance with a puppet named Sam. Check out this video of the duo's performance during the Tuesday night edition of America's Got talent by clicking here.

Gossipandgab.com managed to secure an interview via email from Mr. Zerdin himself, regarding his thoughts on a winning chance on the show. When asked about Terry Fator, another ventriloquist who won season 2 of AGT, on people comparing his act to the past winner, Zerdin was quoted as saying "Terry who...? (JOKE) It definitely makes me have to raise my game knowing that a vent has won it previously. But also it makes me think 'Blimey if they voted for a bloke with a puppet before they might like to do it again!" The guy also has that kind of confidence, that's for sure.

Anyway, not everyone knows about Paul Zerdin. So here are some key facts to know about this talented guy as compiled on heavy.com:

He has more than one act. They are Sam, Baby and Albert. Sam is his regular right-hand man (literally) for his act on the show, while Baby is actually a baby puppet who is hungry for knowing everything, and Albert is the old man puppet who has a quirky thing for ladies.

He has an online shop and mostly sells his own dolls for curious fans. Take a closer look here.

Zerdin was only 10 years old when he realized his love for puppets. Fans visiting his website can come across the comic's passion for the craft in a statement that said "The real turning point was when I was given a book on ventriloquism by the legendary Ray Alan. By the time I hit my teens I was spending half an hour a day in front of the mirror practicing talking without moving my lips."
