The home of al- Hilli family located in Claygate, Surrey was put into market for nearly £1.2 million.
Three years ago, the al- Hilli family were shot dead while on a vacation in the French Alps on September 5. The father of two girls, Saad were shot together with his wife, Iqbal and mother, Suhaila al-Allaf. Their eldest daughter was shot in the shoulder and get beaten luckily survived while their youngest, Zeena, were hidden under her mother's lifeless body and found 8 hours after the killings.
According to dailymail.co.uk, Saad was in a dispute with his brother, Zaid, over the partition of their father's estate last 2011. Zaid went through investigation and got arrested for the suspicion of being the mastermind of his brother's murder but he was later then freed without charge in 2014 after denying all accusations. Up to this day, no one has convicted for the family's murder.
Despite of all the controversies surrounding the family and their house, John Catling, senior partner at the estate agents, said that they will pursue selling the house for they already know the history and besides no one had died inside the Surrey home. Catling and Co Estate Agents didn't want to disclose who had put the house on sale for £1.185 million despite of scheduled viewings this Saturday.
In a report of standard.co.uk, the Catling and Co Estate agents described the al- Hilli home as a "substantial detached family house" with an "excellent frontage". It has a separate dining room, garage, utility room, master's bedroom with an en suite and a large reception room. The house also boasts its large yard that gives a lot of space for different outdoor activities.
The house's description in the listings says that the home is newly- decorated and has 2,264 square meter piece of land but it's former owner's history was not mentioned as it may seem irrelevant to its market value.
