Two-time 'The Bachelorette' Runner-up Nick Viall Considering Being the Next 'The Bachelor'

As it may be recalled, Viall made it to the final two of the two most recent seasons of 'The Bachelorette.' During Andi Dorfman's season, he placed second to Josh Murray; while in the Kaitlyn Bristowe season, he was runner-up to Shawn Booth.

"I mean to be perfectly honest, I would seriously consider it," Viall revealed to hosts Emma Gray and Claire Fallon in Entertainment Weekly. "It's obviously an incredible opportunity. I'm very close with a lot of producers, and they certainly know who I am and what type of female I'm attracted to, and it can certainly work," said Viall.

Despite not wanting to be categorized for his possible third attempt at finding love in a dating show, he insists that he is comfortable and he knows what he is looking for.

The 34-year-old Bachelorette runner-up stated in a report by People, "For me, I would be in a different boat." He went on to say that, "All of the sudden, for the third time I'm going on a show to find love."

ABC has not released any information yet about who the next Bachelor will be for the show's Season 20, but along with Nick Viall, second runner-up Ben Higgins is also said to be a front-runner, reports US Magazine. Others who are being considered are Ben Zorn, Jared Haibon and Chris "Cupcake" Strandburg.

"We have, kind of, an embarrassment of riches as far as decisions for the next Bachelor, and who knows! I mean, we have not picked a new Bachelor contrary to popular belief," said the show's host in an interview with the Reality TV World.

According to the report of Hollywood Take, producer Mike Fleiss said there was a clue about the next Bachelor during the 'Bachelor in Paradise' premiere. However, he didn't clarify what the clue was, he just noted that some of his followers had figured it out instead.

He posted on his social media account: "If you wanna know who the next Bachelor is gonna be, there's a clue in Sunday night's season premiere of Bachelor in Paradise." Then later he said, "Some of you caught the clue. Well done!!!"
