Emilio Estevez last made a splash as a headlining act in Hollywood in the "Mighty Ducks" series of films in 90s as Coach Gordon Bombay. And for big fans of the film and of the actor, they will surely be delighted to know that his home in Malibu has just been place in the market for $6.9M and change. It is not just a celebrity home potential buyers are going to get if they have the dough, the property also happens to have a vineyard that produces decent wine.
According to a report in variety.com, it's not the first time the 3,731 square foot property has been declared for sale by the actor turned director. In 2013, he placed in on the selling block for $7.8M which then came down to $6.8M and then to $6.4M until it was taken off the market in 2014. And now it's back again which could fire up speculations as to what his motivation is for doing so.
Nonetheless, the vineyard estate has a lot of selling points starting with Casa Dumetz wines which has its birthplace in Estevez' property according to a post in mnn.com. About 80% of the grapes grown in the micro-vineyard are Pinot Noir plus there are other varieties of fruit trees and produce which if measured by the acre can easily earn owners around forty thousand dollars worth of fresh food.
The house itself is beautiful with carved entrance doors. It has 5 bedrooms and the same number of baths which speaks of being guest friendly. And who wouldn't want to visit a vineyard in Malibu, especially in summer? There's also an outdoor swimming pool and a spa which together with the numerous al fresco dining areas in the estate is reminiscent of a getaway in Napa Valley. Can we get a "quack" for that?
