The cast members of "Orange is the New Black" recently talked about their newest co-star, Ruby Rose. In an interview with People, the cast members revealed that the Australian actress blended right in on her first day on set.
Taylor Schilling, the actress who plays the role of Piper, said, "It's fun, we have such an amazing chemistry as a cast at this point, and it's always great to have new people in the mix, to shake up the dynamic a little bit."
In "Orange is the New Black (OINTB)" Season 3, Rose was introduced as Stella, the woman who came in between Piper and Alex's (Laura Prepon) relationship.
According to Prepon, "Everyone's personality is so awesome and everyone is so easy to work with that she just fit right in. Our show lends itself to always having new, interesting characters come in, this year there was no shortage of that. I got to basically call her Justin Bieber on camera. I didn't call her that off camera, though."
Meanwhile, casting director Jennifer Euston talked about Rose's beauty and appeal and said that she could be a "dangerous" addition to the cast of "OITNB."
"She's attractive to everybody, boys and girls. Everybody loves the bad girl, the one who you don't know exactly what's up. The one with a little edge, that's always appealing to an audience," she explained.
Euston also revealed that Rose was the best fit for the new character they wrote about in Season 3. This is the very reason why when they saw her audition tape, they immediately hired her for the part.
In other news, Rose recently poured out her thoughts on being compared to Bieber. During her appearance on Conan O'Brien's late night talk show, Rose said that she thinks Bieber is the one who could feel awkward about their resemblance.
"Orange is the New Black" Season 4 will premiere on Netflix in June 2016.
