Luol Deng, who currently plays for the NBA team Miami Heat, is getting rid of his house in Northbrook, Chicago area. The said mansion is believed to be his home when he played for the Chicago Bulls team from 2004 to 2014. The property is now in the market for $2.8 million.
According to Chicago Tribune, the Northbrook house measures 10,100 square feet and has eight bedrooms. It was originally paid for by the NBA star in 2009 for $2.4 million through a land trust and has been "newly built" since then with new features.
Chicago Curbed has some screenshots of the house, which reportedly has a four-car garage and three patios. The pictures show marble floors, five fireplaces in key areas of the mansion, a master bathroom with bathtub and glass-encased shower area, and a massive lawn in front of the house.
The property also boasts a custom gym fit for its athletic owner, a spa, a library, a two-story family room, two laundry areas, and a private terrace.
According to Tribune, Deng has other properties such as the one in Miami where he currently resides. He bought the house for $4.6 million last year. He also previously owned a home in Northbrook, which he sold in 2013.
Celebrity Net Worth estimates Deng's net worth at $60 million. Before he played for his current team, Miami Heat, he was traded to Cleveland Cavaliers by Chicago Bulls, which was his team for 10 years.
In January 2014, it was reported that Deng rejected a $30 million extension with the Bulls before he was traded off to Cavs.
The 6'9-foot-tall basketball player originally hails from the United Kingdom and reportedly made over $54 million from 2004 to 2012 while he was with Chicago Bulls.
