Brit Morgan to Play Livewire in 'Supergirl'

This lady's career is never ending.

From a stunning role in the hit TV show "True Blood," actress Brit Morgan will now be guest starring in an upcoming season one episode of CBS' "Supergirl." Her role as Livewire? Something to watch out for.

According to a previous report by ap.ign.com, "This version of the character is a confident, abrasive and a funny shock jock who works for CatCo Media, the conglomerate owned by Cat Grant." Livewire came into life after her gruesome accident which eventually turned her into a villain. For non-Superman fans, Livewire made a comics debut in the year 1997 in Superman Adventures #5.

According to a recent report by Variety, the show has also added Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, a green tech billionaire who enjoys a friendly rivalry with Cat Grant. Joining the cast are Jenna Dewan-Tatum as Lucy Lane, and Chris Browning as another DC antagonist, Reactron. Other appearances would come from Lucy's father, General Sam Lane, the superhero Red Tornado, and Kryptonian villain Non. The characters are to appear in Season One, but the roles have not been cast yet.

While the world awaits Supergirl's charm, the creators acknowledged the enjoyment and the opportunity to widen the world of "Supergirl" with other heroes and characters from the DC Comics canon.

The executive producer, Andrew Kreisberg, stated in an interview with Variety, that: "On 'Arrow' and 'Flash' we've had Batman villains and Superman villains and people who weren't necessarily associated with those characters, and we're getting to continue that tradition on 'Supergirl'."

Busy days have filled Brit Morgan's life for many years. She has appeared in different shows such as 'Graceland,' 'The Mentalist,' 'Criminal Minds' and 'The Middleman.' Her ability to embody the character that she previously and presently portrayed makes her one of the most talented actresses in this industry. As for 'Supergirl,' it will debut on the 26th of October before moving into its permanent time slot on Nov. 2nd.
