Taylor Swift buys House Near Boyfriend’s Family Home

Country pop musician Taylor Swift, 22, has bought a new house in Cape Cod, People magazine confirmed.
The house was bought for a reported $4.9 million and is right across the street from her boyfriend Conor Kennedy’s family residence. Conor, 18, is the son of Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The house in Hyannis, Massachusetts, is also right across the Kennedy Compound, which was used by former President John F Kennedy as a summer White House and presidential retreat until his assassination in 1963. The house overlooks the Nantucket Sound has a private beach.

"It's in a beautiful location and right across the street from Conor and the Kennedys," People quoted a realtor as saying. "It's a beautiful home. She got a nice home, paid fair price. The house was on the market for two to four years."

The realtor told the magazine that the house has 13 rooms and was listed originally for close to $14 million.

Swift bought her first house back in 2009 for a reported $2 million, Realestalker reported. The bachelorette pad in her hometown of Nashville measures approximately 4,063 square feet and includes 3 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.

She also has a home in Beverly Hills that was purchased for $3.975 million. The house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms in the Franklin Canyon area of Beverly Hills, Realtor.com reported.

“Swift’s new digs are pretty much in line with her wholesome, down home image: no glass and metal box for her, just a beautiful East Coast traditional on 1.37 acres in the Santa Monica mountains, complete with white picket fence,” the website reported.

Meanwhile, on the career front also things are looking up for the country singer. Swift’s new song ‘We are never ever getting back together’ is one of the most played tunes on U.S. radio, MTV reported.
