Oksana, Natalia's sister, has autism and cerebral palsy. It was reported that Oksana and her carer went to a cafe but the owner ordered them to go out. It was said that the waitress told them that they are forbidden from the area. The owner also came over saying that "Come on, go away. You are scaring all our clients away. Go and get cured, and only then you come to the public place." However, the supermodel says that only one client was in the cafe when that happened, as the incident occured in a weekday.
The report says that the carer apologized and asked for them to be allowed to wait until Oksana is able to take a rest. The owner however refused the request and even threatened to call the guards.
"My mother and the nanny have never been thrown out of the cafe before. This is why the shocked nanny phoned my mother and asked what to do in this situation because she knew it was impossible to make Oksana do something. While my mother was on her way, the security guard stood next to Oksana and this is what he said: "You go away, or we will call the psychiatric service. We will call an ambulance and lock you in the cella".
When Natalia's mother arrived at the scene, there were already guards in there. They demanded her mother that they leave the area, one guard even grabbed her by the elbow, threatening her that they will call the police. Natalia's mother took Oksana and the carer away, telling the owner that this is not the end of it.
However, her mother also later had an encounter with the cops when they roughly ordered her to stand still and come with them to the station as they were detaining her for hooliganism. Oksana did not want to get in the car, she was rather tired and hot. Her mother however, was taken to the police. When they were already in the station, the senior officers recognized her as the model's mother and they did not take any action against her. She was instead taken to another police station where she submitted her own complaint towards the cafe owner.
"It was the owner of this cafe who should have been taken to the station for abuse and discrimination. Why was it my mother? Why did she have to waste her day on the way from one police station to another and the man who abused her carried on with his day as usual?" - Natalia Vodianova
The owner of the cafe does not want to comment. Also, the cafe staff have different versions of the whole story. They say that Oksana went to a private area and when the barman saw that the girl can't control herself, she closed the door. This is when Oksana banged her head on the wall and then sat down on the floor. Her carer was then asked that she lifts up the girl.
The staff and owner's son implied that they tried to offer comfort and help, and that the family simply started all these stories.
If the family's accusations be proven to be true, the cafe owner and the guard could be imprisoned for 5 years.
