"Prison Break" is currently making a buzz as Fox recently announced its revival, making a way for Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell to make their way into the spotlight again. After it was announced that the brothers would be back for the revival, it was then asked if Michael Scofield's wife would return for the remake. As per TV Line, though it was already announced that the remake would have most of the original cast back, there isn't any news on Sara Tancredi's [Sarah Wayne Callies] character yet.
When Sarah was asked if she would be joining the "Prison Break" cast for the remake, she then stated: "If we can find a way to honor Sara and Michael by telling a beautiful continuing story and my bosses on 'Colony' let me do another show I would love to. There is such a long list of things that are out of my hands, but my heart is very, very excited about it."
As per Ign, Sarah shared her "Prison Break" experience stating:
"'Prison Break' was extraordinary, the single most amazing thing that has probably ever happened to me, or ever will, in my career, is the fans kicking up such a fuss during Season 3 [that] they had to bring me back in Season 4. That's unprecedented," she then added "If we can find a way to honor them by telling a beautify continuing story, and my bosses let me do another show, I'd love to! There is such a long list of things that are out of my hands, but my heart is very, very excited about it."
With that being said, Sarah is pretty much open in joining the casts for the remake as she enjoyed working with her co-stars. There isn't any update regarding the series yet as the script is currently on the works. The "Prison Break" 10-episode series is set to premier on 2016.
