Fred Durst Net Worth: "Limp Bizkit" Front Man Flips Minnie Driver's Former Home

Fred Durst, the lead vocalist of the American nu metal band Limp Bizkit, is now selling his house at $1.645 million. His Spanish style house is now found on the open market list as a 'private celebrity retreat'. Durst, a serial house flipper, owns a Hollywood Hills house that has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Durst bought the 3,055-square-foot house for $1.5 million via trust only last December. He purchased it from Minnie Driver, an English-born film and television actress.

An article in Variety.com talks about the details of the house which include 'a secured, camera watched, street-level gate just next to a two-car garage that opens to a covered exterior stairway, descending to a tree-shaded terra-cotta tiled courtyard with colorful, vintage tile-accented outdoor fireplace'.

Additional details of the house are mentioned in an Ooyuz article: An entrance hall steps down to a wood-floored living room with wood-beamed ceiling and wood-burning fireplace. Its French doors connect through to a sun porch that offers a panoramic canyon view. The center-island kitchen is well-maintained and appears upgraded. French doors lead to a small dining room which accesses a trellis-surmounted terrace. The house also has 2 suite bedrooms located on the lower level. The central stair hall leads to a petite backyard, but desirably flat with small grassy patch as well as multi-level terraces.'

Although for the past 5 or 6 years Durst has not been seen on the limelight, Durst became 'a property gossip column stalwart'. The vocalist sold for $2.3 million a four-bedroom mock-Med residence the famed Bird Streets in 2001. Durst had also sold, in April 2003, a private house situated above the Sunset Strip to Greg Berlanti, a television writer-producer, who sold the same house for $2.45 million the previous year. An article in Variety.com reports that he also sold a circa-1916 clapboard-sided traditional, in the spring of 2006, to actor Adam Brody for $2.25 million. In 2011, the actor in turn sold it for $1.85 million to the in-demand movie celebrity, Amanda Seyfried.
