'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6 Spoilers: Lucy Hale Talks About Aria's Fate, Says She Won't Play The Character In Season 7?

"Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale recently opened up about her character's fate in the upcoming second half of Season 6 of the show. In an interview with V Magazine, the actress who plays the role of Aria Montgomery said that she will be done filming her role around October 2016. This means that there's a possibility that Aria may no longer be part of the upcoming seventh season of "Pretty Little Liars."

Ahead of Season 6 premiere, it was already confirmed by ABC Family and executive producer Marlene King that the series will run until Season 7. After the high ratings they received during Season 6A finale titled "Game Over, Charles," there's a possibility that ABC Family will renew the show.

"I'll be done next October with 'Pretty Little Liars' forever, which is exciting, but also scary at the same time because it's the next chapter of my life, and so I'm really looking forward to exploring different and darker roles," Hale told the publication.

Meanwhile, Season 6B will premiere next year and King said that the girls will face another villain which will torment them. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, King said that there will also be two big mysteries that will be revealed in the upcoming second half of the season.

"That story will most likely end at the end of season 7. So it's a great finale, gigantic mystery twist - I think it's the biggest we've ever had. And it feels like season 7 is probably a good time to end the story," she said.

Fans have been petitioning for the show to not only be renewed for another season but to also have the series adapted for the big screen. King is open to the idea and said that it's up to the fans to help them decide whether or not they should come up with a "Pretty Little Liars" movie.
