Warning: The article contains spoilers for the upcoming "Heroes Reborn" series.
Tim Kring, the creator of the 2006 NBC TV Series "Heroes" revealed that Claire Bennet is dead for the upcoming miniseries "Heroes Reborn." Claire Bennet was played before by Hayden Panettiere. Her character was the college cheerleader turned agent who has the ability to quickly heal injuries.
A sad note for those inlove with Claire's character.
According to the Digital Spy, Tim Kring said last 2015 Television Critics Association summer press tour that "She died a year prior to our story starting. That sort of gets into the mythology that's attached to the original show."
He also said From EW that some of the original cast will not be part of the miniseries due to some availability conflicts of the actors. "Some of the people, some of the actors, did not have the availability because they were involved in other things."
He also revelead that the viewers will see more and know more of the old mythology of the character through Noah Bennet, Claire's father on the series. Will Noah do due justice and investigate her daughter's death?
Kring also said from the article of EW that, "The show was always designed to be very elastic in its premise. I always saw it as a show that could repopulate itself. I wanted to make it something that was easy for brand new viewers to watch. For them, caring about new characters is just as important as having former cast in the show."
Though Panetierre's character will not be seen, We Got This Covered article suggests that the miniseries will revolve around the lives of the new characters and shockingly, some of the characters from season one will have a comeback on the miniseries. The characters of Jack Coleman (Matt Parkman), Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura), and Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman) will be seen again.
"Heroes Reborn" will premiere on NBC on Sept. 24, 2015, 8 pm.
