Disney Interactive on Monday has revealed that it will include several new characters such as Peter Pan, Olaf, Mulan, Mickey, and Minnie Mouse in its "Disney Infinity 3.0" video game. Additional "Tron" characters like Tron, Sam Flynn and Quorra will also be included in Disney's video game.
There are also other characters that Disney is planning to include such as Spot, which is from "The Good Dinosaur," and the four Power Discs as well. "Zootopia's" Judy and Nick are also expected to arrive in "Disney Infinity 3.0," as well as the special lines of "Star Wars" figures. The company is further reported to include the popular El Capitan Theater in "Hollywood" and Flynn's Arcade from "Tron," according to IGN.
A related report from LA Times said that John Boyega from "Star Wars: Episode Vii: The Force Awakens" has revealed that his character Finn has the "most powerful weapon in the video game."
Meanwhile, Daisy Ridley was reportedly able to try the game and was happy with her results. "I'm not what you call a classic gamer but I just played it backstage and even I was like, 'Oh my God, I can do it,'" said Ridley as quoted by the aforementioned website.
Ridley claimed to have played the video game before a crowd of 5,000 during the D23 Expo event. She and Boyega were invited to be the special guests in the event. They were also tasked to introduce the different characters that will be included in the "Disney Infinity 3.0" video game.
In the said event, Disney reportedly teased the audience with its upcoming mobile game called "Disney Magic Kingdoms." The company said that in "Disney Magic Kingdoms," players will be allowed to create Disney theme parks.
"Disney Infinity 3.0 is" is an upcoming action-adventure sandbox video game. The video game will be available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The video game is slated to be released this August, according to Disney.
