New leaked renders of the rumored Sony Xperia Z5+ has been doing rounds online recently. The reported leaked photos reveal a stunning, refined and innovative design and a supersized variant of the handheld device.
The leaked photos have been spotted first by Xperia Blog and were eventually shared in various social media websites. Some online reports have tagged the leaked photos as "official" because of the alleged Sony branding which appear in the images, a report from iDigitalTimes said on Monday.
As iDigitalTimes noted, the recently leaked photos of the rumored Sony Xperia Z5+ reveal three various colors: black, gold and silver. Based on the said report, the rumored Sony Xperia Z5+ is expected to feature a fingerprint scanning technology which can be found in the smartphone's side panel.
A profile allegedly owned by a Sony agent has revealed various model numbers believed to be variants of Sony Xperia Z5, namely, E6833, E6853, and E6883, respectively. The said website also revealed the possible feature of the rumored device, which is a 4K high-definition resolution display.
However, the report also pointed out that this feature is yet to be confirmed by Sony. The report also added that the rumored Sony smartphone will also include a Quad HD display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile chip processor.
A related report from NDTV Gadgets claims that the leaked photos of the Sony's next flagship smartphone have been codenamed as S70+, which reportedly refers to Sony Xperia Z5+. Other codenames have also surfaced this week, such as Xperia 60 for Sony Xperia Z5 compact.
According to the same website, the said smartphone is relatively larger compared to the Sony Xperia Z3+ or Xperia Z4 models. Sony has reportedly confirmed that it will annouce the device in the scheduled IFA event in September, along with the features of the rumored smartphone.
