Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards were one of the hottest couples way back then. However, things have abruptly changed after they called it quits and ended their engagement. This week, the former One Direction star was seen throwing shade at his ex-flame via Twitter.
Shady Music Facts @musicnews_shade Aug 14: "Which is the better single? Retweet - 'Worth It' by Fifth Harmony. Favorite - 'Black Magic' by Little Mix," the 22-year-old hunk singer retweeted on his Twitter account.
His Twitter post comes after Little Mix was seen demonstrating a fan-made signboard that said "Zayn is irrelevant, anyway." Edwards' pal Thirwall displayed the sign while being pictured by paparazzi.
Meanwhile, Edwards, who performed at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards, appeared to be defiant and was seen enjoying the group's performance. While leaving the venue for an after-party, she was spotted holding hands with her friend Jade Thirwall and a male friend, Mirror reports.
The "Black Magic" singer, 22, received the Choice Music Breakout Artist award with her group. Reports have it that the newly single Edwards was looking more relaxed and in a good mood, appearing like she's just shrugging off the drama between her and her ex-boyfriend Malik.
Edwards also has the support of her bandmates, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall since she broke up with Malik. They have been busy promoting their single "Black Magic" which has topped the charts in recent weeks.
On Aug. 15, Little Mix also performed for Taylor Swift at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California for the singer's 1989 World Tour.
