‘Vin Diesel’ With ‘Furious 7’ Cast Accepted The ‘Teen Choice Award’: Honored Paul Walker And Praised Daughter ‘Meadow Walker’

Vin Diesel together with "Furious 7" cast Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Ludacris has accepted the "Teen Choice Award" for Choice Movie: Action/Adventure. During the acceptance speech, Diesel has honored the late Paul Walker and praised his daughter Meadow Walker.

E! Online reports that when the cast of the "Furious 7" went up on stage to accept their award at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards, things got a bit emotional. Vin Diesel told the audience that he couldn't stand there in front of them receiving the award without honoring Paul Walker. Pablo, as Vin used to call Paul, was considered very important to them. He went on saying that one of the best blessings in their lives was to have that opportunity to call Pablo as brother. He told again the crowd that making the "Furious 7" was special because they made it with their hearts and that they're a true family.

EW says that Vin's moving speech didn't only end by honoring Paul but also by praising Paul's daughter Meadow who was sitting with the audience. "Since this is a Teen Choice Award, there is one teen in the audience that is a part of the family that kept us going. It's Paul Walker's family-his brother, his parents-that kept us encouraged when we were filming Furious 7," he said while the audience applauded. Then he mentioned the name of Meadow Walker, telling everyone that she is a very very special teen.

Hello Magazine recalls how Vin Diesel has been expressive of his grief when Paul died. In fact, his attachment and relationship with Paul has gone beyond the camera lens. The two and the rest of the cast have showed the fans and the world that they have bonded like real family. Diesel has named her daughter "Pauline" in honor of his brother Pablo who died in a car accident in November 2013.

Before the cast left the stage after accepting the award, Jordana Brewster said that they miss Paul and that they will always love him.

"Furious 7" has been awarded as Choice Movie, Action/Adventure, and Walker has been awarded with posthumous Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Actor: Action.
