Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo might be considering a trans-Atlantic move after reports surfaced of the superstar purchasing one of Donald Trump's apartments for a generous $18.5 sum.
Tmz.com reported on Ronaldo's take on the 2,500 square feet of space that actually used to belong to The Donald's former business partner and Italian real estate tycoon, Alessandro Proto. Ronaldo is said to be joining either the Red Bulls or New York City FC - two of the New York Major League Soccer teams, once his contract for Real Madrid expires by 2018.
Another article on the businessinsider.com reveals more details on the 30-year old soccer star's purchase with pics that will make anyone cry with envy. Click on the link to view them here. Designed by Juan Pablo Molyneux, the "L apartment" in Trump Tower boasts of its promising as well as cinematic views of Central Park. This was maybe enough for Ronaldo to get his interest on this prime property.
In the same article, the apartment's color scheme is a downright mix of soft brown hues and gold inlay, which are especially seen in the bedrooms and office space. Light blue colors added a bit of vibrancy to the subtleness of the apartment and were evidently featured in the kitchen area. Huge floor-to-ceiling windows adorned most of the rooms in the said apartment, which allows natural light to graciously enter the room. Marble tops and walls also provide warmth and elegance to the space, plus there are lots of mirrors to look into. Even the shower has wonderful views toward the city skyline, not to mention glass sliding doors too.
