It's not all about lights and glamour for Stephanie Pratt. The "Made in Chelsea" star leaves nothing untouched in a tell-all- autobiography about her dark past titled "Made in Reality."
"The Hills" alum, 29, penned how she struggled with drug addiction, DUI arrest, bulimia and depression during her teen years to early twenties. In her book, Pratt dished how she got addicted to crystal meth and claimed that she didn't care whether she lived or died during that time. The tell-all-book will be launched later this year.
"It's got stuff about family, getting everything I've ever wished for, my descent into drugs and rehab and arrests. Then stuff about 'The Hills,' 'Big Brother,' 'Made In Chelsea,' my brother, guys... I've been very honest," Pratt said.
Pratt revealed how she started smoking class A drug crystal meth when she was just 14 or 15 while she was attending Sta. Monica Illustrious Crossroads School of Arts and Sciences.
"I was 14 or 15 [when I first smoked crystal meth]... I was on the extreme level and addiction developed instantly. [I smoked] probably four times before school, then at snack... probably 12 or 13 times a day," an excerpt from Pratt's "Made in Reality" reads, as published by New Magazine.
While she was high on drugs, Pratt would reportedly drive and she didn't care whether she would survive or not.
"I didn't care about anything. I could live or die, I didn't care. I had nothing to get out of bed for, nothing was exciting," the 29-year-old Pratt wrote. She claimed she also began smoking cocaine while she was with her parents in L.A., which made her feel "rebellious and grown-up."
Pratt also disclosed her 2006 DUI arrest when she tried to steal branded clothes amounting to $4,000 in Honolulu. She was again arrested for DUI three years after and finally had a 30-day rehab stint in Texas.
In 2007, she joined her brother Spencer in "The Hills" but admitted she suffered bulimia due to the pressure she experienced with her sudden popularity.
In her tell-all-book, Pratt also revealed how she overcame her devils and how she learned to love herself even more. Stephanie is now settled in London and is enjoying every bit of her life with close friends and family. She will be joined by her brother Spencer and his wife Heidi Montag in "Made in Chelsea" L.A. spin-off on E4.
