"Gotham" Season 1 villains fired us up seeing Poison Ivy, the Joker, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, and Penguin. Now part of the uncanny troop will be "Firefly" on Season 2. The DC supervillain is now a female which will be portrayed by "Not Cool" actress Michelle Veintimilla according to TV Line .
Firefly was known to be a pyromaniac in the DC comics, wearing a flame retardant suit and carrying a Flame Sword for defense. Firefly's human alter ego in the upcoming season of "Gotham" is Bridgit Pike and she will be seen in two episodes of the series coming this late fall.
Her character's official description based on TV Line was:
"Enslaved by her brothers, a notorious gang of arsonists, Bridgit Pike is forced into the family business. When she catches the eye of Selina Kyle, the young Cat Woman and the soon-to-be-Firefly team up to put Bridgit's firestarting skills to good use. But after a deadly encounter with the Pike Brothers, the meek Cinderella is transformed into a vengeful supervillain, hell bent on destroying those who have wronged her."
Along with Veintimilla and as mentioned before in the article of Deadline, Leo Fitzpatrick will also join the cast of "Gotham" in season 2 as a new villain. His character is known as Joe Pike and he is "the leader of notorious gang of arsonists known as the Pike Brothers."
Now we are seeing the connection of the new villain characters. This will be a whole lot of crazy ride for the fans who anticipate the second season.
