Blizzard on Tuesday has released a new patch for the "Heroes of the Storm" video game. The patch includes changes to ranked play, Dynamic Bundles, a new Monk character Kharazim as well as "Diablo III" items for free. Aside from these, the patch reportedly introduces new design and balance tweaks and hints a possible new Battleground which will be revealed next week, a report from PC Gamer said.
According to the report, three weeks after the launch of the updated game patch, "Diablo III" players who will log in to "Heroes of the Storm" will be able to acquire a "Diablo Hero." Starting from Season 4, players who have reached level 70 with a Seasonal character will be given Malthael's Phantom.
"Diablo III" players who were able to reach level 12 of the video game will also be able to receive a new "Heroes of the Storm"-themed portrait border as well as a pennant in "Diablo III." The report added that there will be other portrait rewards that will be included. A Special Event Quest will also award a special portrait to other players who will be able to kill 50 Treasure Goblins.
According to a related report from Gamespot, Blizzard has earlier announced that it may limit the number of selection maps in the "Heroes of the Storm" video game. Blizzard claimed that it doesn't want the video game to be too "complex," specifically the matchmaking aspect.
Meanwhile, the patch which was rolled out on Tuesday has also introduced some changes in the ranked play, as mentioned above. This means that both Hero and Team Leagues will no longer be separate in out-of-game menus.
