The world already awaits the coming of the world-renowned 'Star Wars' in cinemas, and it seems that one of its stars is also joining another movie project as well. John Boyega will be heading back to Earth for his first major role post 'Star Wars' to be a part of another significant project.
John Boyega is being tapped to star opposite Tom Hanks and Emma Watson in the James Ponsoldt-directed and scripted adaptation of Dave Eggers' book 'The Circle,' which moves him from sharing the stage with Harrison Ford, to doing the same with Tom Hanks, as stated in a report by Deadline.com. Will the role be challenging for John Boyega? Who knows? It might be a different niche and environment than he had gotten used to in 'Star Wars,' but it seems his skills in acting will indeed suffice.
The movie revolves around a girl named Mae Holland, played by Emma Watson, who goes to work for an insanely powerful internet company called the Circle, as stated in a report by Mashable.com. In the movie, Boyega characterizes Ty, the iconized boy-wonder visionary of the Circle. The story progresses on as Ty meets Mae Holland, and both develop a relationship as the dangers of life in a digital age inevitably ascend.
The film is created by Hanks and Gary Goetzman's Playtone, together with Anthony Bregman, Ponsoldt, Walter Parkes and Laurie Macdonald of Parkes, and lastly MacDonald of Image Nation.
There is much more than meets the eye for John Boyega. His flexibility makes him one of the sought after stars of this generation. Boyega himself is excited about "The Circle" movie and cannot wait to work with Tom Hanks and Emma Watson. As of the moment, he is currently busy. John Boyega has his hands full starring in 'Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens', that will be released on Dec. 18 of this year, as reported by Mashable.com.
