The late legendary rock stat Kurt Cobain's Aberdeen, Washington property is still available and its price has been significantly reduced recently. Originally listed for $500,000 back in 2013, the house is now for sale for $329,000.
According to Curbed, the Aberdeen property is where the Nirvana frontman grew up. The listing of the property apparently states the "option of moving the building and incorporating it into a larger institution or private collection."
Curbed states that the house on sale still bears the traces of Cobain. The 1,522-square-foot bungalow reportedly still bears Cobain's own band logo drawings on the wall of his bedroom. There 's also a hole in the wall that was punched by Cobain himself.
The house is made up of two stories and includes an attached garage and backyard. The garage is reportedly where Cobain and Krist Novoselic practiced in the late 1980s when they first had a band together.
Agency states that Cobain lived in the Washington house until he was nine years old, when his parents separated. He went back to the house and lived there when he was 16 years old and stayed there until he was about 20 years of age.
The property is said to be significantly historically preserved, as the original furniture of the house, which dates back to 1923, are still there. These include the dining table, Cobain's childhood mattress, his room rug and more. The house is said to be three blocks away from the park in Aberdeen, which has been dedicated to the late rocker and was dubbed the Kurt Cobain Memorial Park.
According to The Richest, Cobain's net worth amounts to $100 million. Though the iconic rock star has passed away, his revenue continues to grow from the legacy of music he left behind.
