Four-time WWE Champion and former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Brock Edward Lesnar, is now back in the WWE, as reported by yahoo, and now preparing for a rematch with the legendary Undertaker at this weekend's Summer Slam pay-per-view in Brooklyn.
The champion's return to WWE is a bit mired with controversy as Lesnar compared UFC President Dana White over WWE CEO Vince McMahon. Lesnar, who shadowed away from WWE in early 2000 in pursuit of personal athletic sojourn which lead him to NFL and later on becoming an all-world MMA champion, commented on ESPN SportsCenter (click link for video) interview last Tuesday saying that Vince McMahon is a better promoter compared to his former UFC boss Dana White. The interview focused on his former boss, White, having an exchange of twit over a WWE fan. White on his twitter account posted in response to a fan's comment that;
"@RKORollins not disrespecting what they do. All the WWE guys I have met are awesome people but yes it's fake. "Of course, Dana, it's fake," - Dana White
When Lesnar was asked about the comment of Dana, he said in reply that;
"Of course, Dana, it's fake. Everybody knows that. You are promoting the same thing we're promoting: Dana White is promoting fights. We're promoting fights. It just so happens that we get a little more longevity out of our fights and our fighters, because of the circumstances. It is a staged arena. Everyone knows that and if you can't turn WWE on Monday night and get something out of that show and be entertained, then there's something wrong with you."
In addition to the comment of Lesnar, in the latter part of the interview, it was then that the WWE star comments that McMahon is a better promoter than Dana White. Lesnar in a statement also released on mmajunkie said that;
"I think Vince McMahon's better at it than Dana, and that might rub Dana the wrong way... Vince is the pioneer of it. He's been doing this his whole life. And he's damn good at it."
