Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green Split: Couple Breaks Up After 11 Years

Break-up season? Nope, 2015 is break-up year! Adding to the long list of now estranged celebrity couples are Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green, who have reportedly decided to end their 11-year romance.

Us Weekly broke the news first and implied that it was Fox who initiated the break-up with Green, and the decision was reportedly made six months ago. Fox and Green, who have a 13-year age gap, called off their first engagement after three years because Fox believed that "marriage isn't a realistic goal for someone who is 23." Green proposed again for a second time in 2010 and they were married 24 days after in Hawaii.

What was the reason for the shocking break-up? Daily Mail reports that the impending split is due to the couple's difference in interest in Megan's career. The report says that "she was obsessed with getting roles" and Green would have wanted her to stay in instead to take care of their children. Fox was reportedly constantly out of their house because of her shoots. She's also currently part of the all-new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" franchise. The break-up, however, is said to be amicable and on decent terms for the sake of their kids.

The former lovers were spotted in June in Beverly Hills without their wedding bands. They have also made a recent appearance together last fall, and they reportedly looked quite happy then. Buzzfeed has reported that moving trucks have arrived to the couple's former home in Los Angeles.

42-year-old Brian Austin Green is best known for his role as David Silver in "Beverly Hills 90210." Twenty-nine-year-old Megan Fox has notable roles in the "Transformers" franchise and "Jennifer's Body." The couple was married for five years and has two children together named Noah and Bodhi. Green also has a kid named Kassius with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil.
