- Saves data consumption (especially with WhatsApp calls) - A new option called Low Data Usage is a better way to save on data while making the most out of voice calls using the app, and can be seen in the Chats and Calls menu under Settings. Just look for this option when scrolling to the bottom under this menu and simply tick the box to get started on saving data use.
- More emojis with newer skin tones - Fair enough, even emojis for this app are getting more diverse and are set to appeal to every consumer's delight such as LGBT emojis, even the Spock salute. Everyone knows Spock, right?
- Chat history is not history - Confusing? Maybe. However, some users fret over losing track of those important chats that were seemingly left behind on an old Iphone that probably got broken or even just by switching to a newer one. WhatsApp messenger has the capability to let you bring any amount of chat history on board. With the use of a micro SD card, users only need to go over to: Menu > Settings > Chat settings > Backup conversations.
