"Empire" season 2 will be coming back with 18 episodes on Fox this coming Sept. 23 and 18 episodes may mean a lot of solid famed names in Hollywood to star on this Fox hit TV series. The likes of Kelly Rowland, Marisa Tomei, Chris Rock were already named before by IB Times. Much of the anticipation of the audience for this comeback, Cartermatt named another celebrity and it is the Billboard chart-topping rapper Pitbull who will be working on the drama series soundtrack with Jamal (Jussie Smollett).
The second season is not starting but this is just a way to get us more hooked with eagerness on its comeback. The finale episode of "Empire" Season 1 just caught us blow by blow of every revelation and many rising plots for the story. Jamal hailed as successor of Lucious for Empire. Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) by accident kills Vernon (Malik Yoba) and Lucious Lyon (Terrance Howard) on bars for murder of Bunkie and ending up telling everyone that, "it is just the beginning and that he will return."
According to Cartermatt, viewers might suspect in the next season that Jamal will face more tough situations having the topmost power over Empire Entertainment and also due to family members' jealousy on the succession.
Aside from Pitbull, Kelly Rowland, Marisa Tomei, Cartermatt also named another big celebrity to watch out for this second season of "Empire" who is Mariah Carey, it was said that Carey's appearance may help feature another element on the series.
IB Times noted that Chris Rock is said to be one of Lucious' inmates for the second season while Marisa Tomei will portray Mimi Whiteman who is a lesbian billionaire and Ludacris will portray a prison guard.
Reverend Al Sharpton and Fashion guru and former Vogue editor Andre Leon Talley will also appear in "Free Lucious" concert on the next season's first episode from EW.
Watch "Empire" Season 2 premiering in Sept. 23 at 9 pm on Fox.
