Charli XCX, singer of hit songs "Break the Rules" and "Fancy" just joined the Hollywood club of celebrity home owners when she bought a four-bedroom, four bathroom house in Hollywood Hills' east side. It was reported in trulia.com that she shelled out $2.815 million for her first official crib in the United States. The residence is located right smack at the heart of Los Angeles but the 23-year old British pop star who is estimated to be worth over $1 million for 2015, got her wish of owning a property that reminded her of England.
In the same report, the house is described as a Tudor-style with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlooks a courtyard with accompanying gardens. It was built in 1927 which would perfectly fit with what Charli had in mind and it has been fully restored. The house measures 4,423 square feet and it has two living rooms; one for each of the two levels. It's perfect for a celebrity like Charli who entertains a lot of people. The rooms flow into a dining area and the kitchen. The master bedroom has canted ceilings that add more space that goes well with huge closets. And true to English living, the bathroom inside has a classic look. The post also mentioned that there is a "speakeasy" room that has its own entrance. This is perfect if Charli has to hide a fellow celebrity from the eyes of the media.
In a post in dailymail.co.uk fans and critics alike agree that the pop star has come a long way from her British roots. She is now being compared to elite celebrity names like the Beckhams and Gerrards, fellow countrymen who now owns properties in the United States. Charli was born in Cambridge and raised in Hertfordshire. It was reported by trulia.com that she "was keen to have solid reminders of her home country within her own four walls as the sprawling property looks like it could've been plucked from a rural Cheshire estate."
