Zayn Malik's former fiance, Perrie Edwards, burst into tears in the middle of her performace with her band, 'Little Mix', in New York City last Wednesday. The performance was reported to be part of the band's 4th anniversary celebration.
Perrie was apparently dumped by her fiance after four years of being together. Perrie's band members immediately comforted her and gave her a group hug until one of her band member, Jesy Nelson told the audience"It's been a long day."
According to smh.com [Sydney Morning Herald], Perrie burst into tears when she sang the line of "no one can love you, like the way I used to" from their latest single 'The End.' The audience came to the rescue and show their support by yelling "We love you Perrie!" Leigh-Anne Pinnock tried to lighten the situation when she jokingly add, "But, yeah. That was the end" referemcimg the title of their song.
Perrie's band 'Little Mix' is doing a tour in the US to promote their third album, 'Get Weird' and its debut single, 'Black Magic.'
Zayn Malik's ex- fiance's breakdown came as a shock because Perrie seems to be in a happier mood during their performance during an outdoor concert oragnized by US morning show, 'Today.'
According to dailymail.co.uk, the ex- couple have put their north London home into market just after two months of moving into the property. The house is currently being sold for £4.2 million.
Despite of the Perrie's happy demeanor, a close friend said that Perrie is still "reeling from the sudden split" and that "this was the house where Perrie expected to marry Zayn and act as his wife for the rest of their lives. It was their dream home. It's understandable that Perrie feels confused and led on. He must have already been having doubts about the relationship. This was a very serious, major financial purchase. She thought Zayn was committing to their long-term future."
