Are Emma Stone & Ryan Gosling Soulmates? Pair Working on Third Film

For the third time, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are working together on screen for "Whiplash" director Damien Chazelle's new film, "La La Land"; and there's no denying that they have maintained their crazy chemistry from doing 2011's "Crazy, Stupid Love" and then again in their second film "Gangster Squad", bustle.com has the report.

Stone, 26, and Gosling, 34, are among the lucky few celebrity actors who are able to establish a really good relationship both on and off screen - they might even be obsessed with each other!

Here are some proofs that the two are platonic soulmates off-screen:

She loves his brain

The "Easy A" actress is not denying Gos' good looks, but she reveals to Cameron Crowe for Interview Magazine that she is into his mind the most: "I've asked him to read a couple of scripts. I just really like hearing his viewpoint because I know that it's never going to be tainted. He's very much his own person. It has really just been scripts so far, because I only met him two years ago when we did 'Crazy Stupid Love' but it was like meeting a member of your team or something. I really like his brain."

They sometimes have too much fun on set

During a promotional interview for "Gangster Squad", Gos told Clevver News that he and Emma are getting along so well. "We had such a great time on 'Crazy, Stupid, Love', but we had to be serious on this movie, which was very hard for us. Once you've been a knucklehead in front of somebody, it's kind of hard to sit there and pretend you're Humphrey Bogart," he said.

She teases back, too

Stone and Gosling are obviously getting along so well that they could afford to talk smack to each other. In an interview for Crazy, Stupid Love, the actress said that Gos has no future in acting. When asked about her experience working with him: "It was the worst. He can't act and he doesn't have that face, which is a real bummer, and we didn't have any fun at all... Needless to say, I struggled through the whole process, but I came out stronger for it and now here I sit, with a restraining order against him in the other room."

He knows she's something special

Gosling is all praises for his on-screen partner when MTV caught him during the premiere of "Crazy, Stupid Love". "She's everything, all the time. There's no one like her. As soon as she signed on for this movie, I knew it was going to be good," he said.

The undeniable chemistry and both being incredible actors, there is no reason not to look forward to "La La Land."
