"American Ultra" is one of the most anticipated movies to hit the screens for this year. While Lionsgate expects the movie to hit $8 million gross sales upon its release, this stoner movie is bound for success upon its release date this Friday, reported Variety.
THE STORYLINE
"American Ultra" stars Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg, playing the lead characters of this upcoming stoner movie.
The couple was living a simple life, Eisenberg being a mere grocery store cashier and his girlfriend, Stewart, living a much simpler life who smokes weed during her past time.
However, one evening, a couple of government agents came to Eisenberg's workplace and wreaked havoc all over the place, allegedly aimed at killing Eisenberg's character. However, the latter was able to extinguish the agents, not knowing that he had the killing skills of a hit man.
The movie gets more exciting as the couple were able to uncover that Eisenberg was a sleeping agent who was a killing machine. Furthermore, Stewart and Eisenberg seemed to be stoned almost the entire time.
Despite the fans yearning for the celebrities to hit the red carpet last Tuesday for "American Ultra" premiere, Stewart tagged Taylor Lautner along, her co-star in the previously famous teen flick "Twilight", reported Pop Sugar.
Seemingly, the two stole the spotlight during the premiere as they absolutely looked cute together. Also, it was their first time to be spotted together in a public appearance.
Kristen Stewart appeared as sexy as ever, wearing a plunging neckline and a fit romper while Taylor Lautner showed up strutting in a sruff and blazer looking as mature as was expected. Catch "American Ultra" hit the screens this coming August 21.
