'Dead or Alive Xtreme 3' News: 'Dead or Alive Xtreme Volleyball' to Make a Comeback, But Will It Have A Western Release?

"Dead or Alive" fan boys will be delighted to know that the ultra sexy "Dead or Alive Xtreme Volleyball" is making a comeback. Kotaku reports that due to insistent public demand, the developer of the game has decided to revive the cult classic. The news was announced during the "Dead or Alive Festival."

Fans may reportedly have thought about requesting the game again due to the "Yawaraka Engine" that renders human skin more realistically. They say that the game with this engine will create better and more titillating graphics for the game.

"Xtreme Volleyball" has been known to be hypersexual and features the full-bosomed female characters of the fighting game "Dead or Alive." If the team will decide to use the Yawaraka Engine in "Xtreme 3," then fans can expect more realistic textured characters in the title. It might even end up better than the fighting game.

"Xtreme 3," however, might only be released in Asia. This was reportedly a marketing decision since a big chunk of the market for the game is confined only in Asian territories. Producer Yosuke Hayashi, however, mentioned that if it gets enough traction in Western territories, then they might release it there eventually.

The "Yawaraka Engine" in "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" has done great things graphics-wise for the franchise. The most noticeable aspect of it is how bouncy the female characters' breasts have become, much to the pleasure of fanboys across the world. Hayashi mentioned in an interview with Weekly Famitsu that the technology is still under development and graphics will get even more realistic over time.
