You don't want to be Ben Affleck right now. The actor may be headed back to rehab for drinking problem -- again; but this isn't the first time that he will be doing this for the same reason. With everything that's going on in his life - his divorce from actress Jennifer Garner, plus the cheating scandal with their nanny, Christine Ouzounian - Ben is said to be using alcohol to cope with all the chaos that he is facing right now, celebritydirtylaundry.com reports.
Back in 2011, Ben Affleck already completed a 30-day treatment program in a Malibu rehab for his drinking problem - it was a successful intervention that he was able to return to the real world a supposed sober and changed man. But his ex-wife Jennifer Garner thinks that he should check himself back into rehab again for his frequent display of "erratic behavior", she shares in this week's edition of In Touch Magazine.
According to an insider, "Ben's battle with alcoholism has been rearing its ugly head. Jen says that he has been drinking throughout the day. Now, Jen is concerned by his erratic behavior and wants him to return to a rehab facility for the sake of their children (Seraphina, Samuel, and Violet)."
Quite frankly, it is not that difficult to understand if Ben had started drinking again with the amount of stress he is dealing with: his recent split with his ex-wife, child custody battle, and he also has the nanny Christine basically blackmailing him into being in a relationship with her and even threatening to squeal everything she knows about him if he dumps her.
Jennifer Garner is pushing to get full custody of all their three kids. And if Ben wants to have shot at getting joint custody in court, he knows that going into rehab would help him with that cause. Is he going to get help, or is he going to continue to spiral downhill?
