Rebel Wilson, The Hemsworth Brothers, And More People Who Missed Out On An Award At The Teen Choice Awards

Australian star Rebel Wilson got snubbed in the Teen Choice Awards, beaten by Anna Kendrick in the comedy actress category. It turns out being "the fat girl from 'Pitch Perfect'" wasn't perfect enough for her to win a comedy actress award, even though she actually did very well as far as comedy is concerned. Nonetheless, it's pretty much a normal thing to get snubbed by award giving bodies from time to time. Rebel Wilson's show "Super Fun Night" also did not last very long despite all its entertainment value. However, it's still undeniable how successful Rebel has been in the past years. She was the most entertaining character in the two movies of "Pitch Perfect", and she did the same level of acting in "Super Fun Night." She actually comes from a family who's not new in showbusiness as she claims that her great aunt was married to Walt Disney. Her siblings Liberty and Ryot also appeared on "Amazing Race Australia 1".

No need to feel bad about getting snubbed at the Teen Choice Awards as other great stars also had to end up with no awards, such as the Hemsworth brothers, Liam and Chris. The two were nominated for "Hunger Games" and "The Avengers" respectively, but the voters preferred Liam's co-actor Josh Hutcherson for the best actor category. Too bad none of the Hemsworth brothers got an award. But it's fine, the blue-eyed brothers will always be loved by their fans.

Since we're already talking Aussie here, Iggy Azalea also missed out on the award as Taylor Swift was throned as the Female Artist of TCA and Wiz Khalifa stood out in the R&B/HipHop category. But it's not that bad, Iggy Azalea had three nominations, which is already surprising because she has been a bit quiet this year. Rose Byrne also did not succeed on being the best villain after teens voted for Bella Thorne instead.

The Teen Choice Awards is an annual awards show that acknowledges the biggest achievements in movies, TV, music, fashion, sports, and more. The winners are chosen via the votes of teen viewers ages 13 to19.
