A recent rumor has revealed that "Left 4 Dead 3" will feature four survivors and new campaigns. The video game is said to be released in late 2016 or early 2017. This developed after an ex-Valve employee claimed that Valve is currently developing two video games: "Left 4 Dead 3" and "Half Life 3." The former Valve employee said that the company will release the former ahead of "Half Life 3," a report from Master Herald said on Thursday.
Christian Today reports that the ex-Valve employee worked as a game tester in the company. It was said that after he was kicked out, the former employee revealed information about the rumored game via his Reddit account. The source mentioned that there will be four survivors that will be introduced in "Left 4 Dead 3," namely: Irvin, a gangster; Katherine, a former stewardess; Keenan, a comic-book nerd; and Garret Jr., the buffed-up guy who is a famous Kenpo fighter on the team.
"The source also revealed that 'Left 4 Dead 3' will be a prequel-sequel of 'Left 4 Dead 2' and it shall actually take place one month after the infection has begun to spread," Master Herald stated. Meanwhile, the reported six campaigns are Crash-land, Impasse, Inquisitor Land, Early Destination, Cliff-Hanger and No Mercy. The ex-employee of Valve reportedly also disclosed that the game is going to get a backpack system, which will allow each character to carry a specific item only.
Meanwhile, Gamespot reports that players can now play their own favorite "Left 4 Dead 3" characters in the "Zombie Army Trilogy" which is a non-Valve video game. "A free update released today for the PC version of 'Zombie Army Trilogy' adds all eight survivors from Valve's co-op shooters as playable characters," the report said.
The said game is on sale with a discount of 66 percent until August 24, which means that fans can buy the game for $15.29.
