After enduring and indirectly responding to Donald Trump's political attacks on him, Jeb Bush finally addressed the former directly during a discussion in Keene, New Hampshire. Bush, a former Florida governor, said that Trump's record should "disqualify him as a genuine conservative." He also added that "There's a big difference between Donald Trump and me. I'm a proven conservative with a record. He isn't."
According to a report by nytimes.com, many republicans are hoping that Mr. Trump will fade as a presidential candidate. However, Mr. Bush refuses to wait for it to happen and takes the matter in his hands.
"I cut taxes every year; he proposed the largest tax increase in mankind's history, not just our own country's history. I've been consistently pro- life; he until recently was for partial- birth abortion. I've never met a person that actually thought that was a good idea. I believe we need to reform our health care system to make sure we stop the suppression of wages and allow people to have access to insurance; he's for a single- payer system." Mr. Bush explained.
"He actually advocates these things. He's been a Democrat longer than a Republican." Jeb continued. He finished his speech with referring Trump into some kind of summer flavor; temporary. He said "Let's go talk about this two months from now, three months from now. I think what you'll find is you'll have forgotten what exists in August, whatever it is - 20th."
Mr. Bush statements were a more combative approach to Trump's political attacks compared to the former's "elliptical, indirect and sparing responses."
According to edition.cnn.com, Trump gives yet another set of attacks for Jeb which the latter willingly responded with another attacks. Trump said that he doesn't "see how he's [Bush] electable. Jeb Bush is a low energy person. For him to get things done is hard. He's very low energy." After taking questions from the crowd, Trump added "You know what is happening to Jeb's crowd right down the street? They're sleeping."
"He was supposed to do well in New Hampshire? He's going down like a rock," he also added with a laughter.
