Rihanna Sells Million Dollar Home

Multi Grammy Award winner Rihanna took a financial hit last year when she sold her water-damaged Beverly Crest home. Now, an industrious flipper is trying to gain some of the millions the singer lost back and has listed the newly improved place at $9.95 million.

Rihanna, 23, took almost a $2-million loss on the house alone last year, according to the Los Angeles Times.

LA Times reports that the pop star paid $6.9 million for the property in 2009 and sold it for $5.03 million two years later. When the house was listed then, it was described as a "major fixer" with "extensive damage from moisture and water."

The 8,520-square-foot contemporary sits on about three-quarters of an acre with flaunting canyons and city views. The 8,520-square-foot home has a swimming pool sit.

Additional details of the house include a custom closet with suede ceilings in the master suite, tiered seating in the home theater and 35-foot-high tongue-and-grove wood ceilings in the open-plan living space, LA Times confirms.

There are also three fireplaces, a bar, a library/study den, seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

The listing agents for the contemporary are Valerie Fitzgerald of Coldwell Banker's Beverly Hills North office and Joseph Babajian of Rodeo Realty.

Rihanna is one of the world's top selling recording artists. According to LA Times, her earnings between May 2011 and May 2012 were estimated by Forbes at $53 million.
