Destiny's New Expansion Pack is announced to be available on Sept. 15 with its newest addition of maps that are sure to bring more excitement to the addictive first-person shooting game.
Bungee announced that the Taken King Expansion will bring forth joy to players as they introduced a lot of exciting details about the expansion.
Here is what you need to know about the new maps of 'Destiny: The Taken King.'
- Bannerfall
- Mid-sized map well-suited to matches of Control, and Rift Matches
- Similar to the Tower where players gather on in-between missions but set in the other site of the city
- Frontier
- A showcase Rift Map
- A semi-symmetric map that was built on a train yard
- Train track cuts through the middle of the map and runs across a bridge, which is a central landmark for the map and a jam for combat
- CrossRoads
- Good for Mayhem Matches
- A smaller island is separated from the main map and can only be reached by launchers
- Sector 618
- Exclusive to PS4
- Set inside the Cosmodrome Wall with various floating Platform, so expect a lot of leaping and platforming
- Ghost Ship
- Good for small matches between few players
- Smallest Map set in a sunken ship with minimal gravity effects
- Exile
- Good for Control, and Clash Mode
- Complicated Maze, and lower level with vertical combat
- Memento
- Good for Control, and Clash Mode, but also suitable for smaller team modes
- Map's core is an overgrown street tucked in-between two larger buildings, all set within a roughly triangular shape
- Lots of Elevation shift scattered in the map for high ground advantage
- Vertigo
- Use for Player versus Player Engagement
- Has a one way teleporter that sends player to an advantageous platform that oversees both ends of the map
