Actress Reese Witherspoon, who recently put up her Ojai vacation home for sale, gave birth to her third child, on Sept. 27, The Huffington Post confirmed.
The actress and her husband Jim Toth took home their new born son, Tennessee James Toth, after he was born in Los Angeles.
"Reese Witherspoon and husband Tim Toth welcomed Tennessee James into their family today. Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled," Witherspoon's representative told The Post in a statement.
The 36-year-old "Sweet Home Alabama" star already has two children from her previous marriage; Ava, 12, and Deacon, 8.
According to The Post, Witherspoon and Toth named their new bouncing baby boy Tennessee because the actress spent most of her early years in Nashville. Her daughter Ava was names after actress Ava Gardner and Deacon was named after his father, Ryan Philippe's distant baseball player relative.
According to The Post, Tennessee was mostly used for baby girls in the 1880s and 1890s before the playwright, Tennessee Williams came on the scene. The actress is known for naming her children after places.
The Post reported that it remains to be seen whether the actress's latest selection will propel her new sons name to stardom, since it is so uncommon.
