A new report has surfaced this week saying that "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will be officially launched on March 9, 2016. The video game is expected to arrive exclusively for PlayStation 4. However, all these details remain to be a speculation unless Naughty Dog issues an official statement, a report from Master Herald said.
Though the release date of the game is not yet definite, according to the report, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will be streamed live during the GameStop Expo 2015, which will be held on September 2 at Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. Other video games will also be featured in the event such as "NBA 2K16," "Assassin's Creed Syndicate," "Battleborn" and three games from Square Enix, which are yet to be revealed.
"It is likely that two of the Square Enix titles will be 'Final Fantasy XV' and 'Kingdom Hearts 3' although the Japanese game developer has yet to confirm it. Accordingly, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be streamed for about 20 minutes starting at 1 pm of September 2nd. It will then be followed by the streaming of the Square Enix titles to be followed by the 'Street Fighter 5' tournament," Master Herald noted.
Gizmo describes "Uncharted 4" as "absolutely gorgeous" when a gameplay demo of the title was featured at PlayStation Experience during the E3 2015 event. It was said that the game features unique "cinematic set" pieces that are similar to those in the "Indiana Jones" movie.
"With the added power and features of the PlayStation 4, Naughty Dog has taken the thrills of the video game to the next level and the worlds that Nathan Drake would explore will be more open and beautiful than ever before. Naughty Dog has been receiving plenty of praises for the seven-minute demo trailer of 'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End' that it showed at the E3 2015 held in June. Critics and gamers were quite impressed with the video game's level of intensity as well as the visual feasts that it offered to them," the report noted.
